The Easy Upload mobile app is available to all life & health policy holders, annuity contract holders, and insurance agents/producers with a relationship to the ManhattanLife companies. Due to the increased resolutions of our modern scanning tools, the work to scan and manipulate images into the PDF format that is of acceptable size can be difficult.
This tool should make things much easier using your smartphone or tablet camera. The tabs on this website guide you in order of the steps that need to be taken to submit a document to the ManhattanLife companies.

This mobile application works on Android devices with Android version Oreo (8.0) or greater. You can install the mobile app on your device by clicking the Google Play Store link below, then Install, and then by following instructions:
There are two ways to upload using the app. When the app first comes up, you will be asked to identify your role as a user:
This option does not require a website registration. And this option is not available for Annuity Producers (please use the Agent/Producer login option instead).
Two pieces of information are required:
Uploading as an insurance agent or annuity producer requires log in credentials. These are the same credentials you use for the Life & Health Resource Center (ARC) and/or Annuity Producer Center (APC). website:
If you have trouble logging in with these credentials on the app, go to website's link above to resolve the issue by resetting your password or registering.
Once you've chosen your upload option, you will see the app's Home screen. Note that the screens look a bit different for policy/contract and agent/producer uploads. Generally though, this screen shows all of the uploads you have completed since logging into the app.
If you've logged in as an agent/producer, it is possible that your user account is registered to sell both insurance policies and annuity contracts.
If this is the case, you will be presented with a checkbox to choose between uploading insurance or annuity related documents.
Along the bottom of the screen you will see tabs for each of the app's main screens (The dark one is the current page):
From the home page you can click the Scan tab on the bottom bar and the scanner will come up.
For best results, use these tips:
At the end of scanning, the document will be added to collection of pages on the Edit page where pages can be modified.
Scan the pages you want to be a part of the upload in the correct order and you can modify them as needed. The edit screen shows the thumbnails for each page up top. Touch the thumbnail you want to modify to select it. You will be able to scroll around the full size Preview image to review it as needed:
Near the bottom, the dark buttons are used to modify the currently selected page:
Touch the New button to launch the scanner to add another page.
Touch the Gallery button to add a new page that you can select from your device's Picture Gallery
Touch the Crop button to open the selected page in the crop screen. Upon opening, it will try and detect the document edges again. Use you finger just inside each corner to move the blue box over the image properly. Once it looks correct, you can touch the checkmark to accept it or the arrow icon on the left to push the cropping box back out to the edges to start over.
Each time the Rotate button is touched the image rotates.
Touch the Delete button to permanently remove the currently selected page from the collection
...on the bar up top when finished editing the pages.
The upload page itself will look a bit different depending on whether you are uploading as a policy/contract holder or representative or an agent/producer, and whether you are uploading policy/contract documents or life & health enrollment applications.
Note that if you are trying this in DEMO mode, the upload button will still exist but you will see a DEMO mode label and, behind the scenes, a real upload will not take place.
The only thing needed to upload a document is to properly classify it. Check the checkbox next to the form type of the document. There are descriptions listed for each type to help you decide. Once this is done you can click the Upload button.
Touching the Upload Document button causes the page images that you have assembled to be consolidated into an efficiently sized PDF. Following that, the PDF is uploaded to the applicable ManhattanLife company.
* If you are an annuity producer, you must log out of this app and back in as an annuity producer with your registered credentials to upload.
